Pete Jenkins is a proper photographer,
highly experienced from working for the national press
covering general news sport, celebrities - the whole range.
He is also an active trade unionist, having chaired the
NUJ photographers' committee for two years and now been
elected to the union's National Executive Council. If
I need pictures in the East Midlands I have no hesitation
in approaching Pete Jenkins first.

I have worked for The Sunday Times for nearly fifteen years,
the first eleven on the main picture desk in London where
I was responsible for supplying all pictures to the sports
section. I have known Pete Jenkins in a professional capacity
for all of that time, firstly when he ran the sports agency
SpedeGrafix, and later when he worked as an independent freelance.
Both as an agency photographer and as a freelance, he has
supplied photographs to national and international publications.
He has an extensive knowledge of photography and is an experienced
all-round photojournalist.
