The Women Chainmakers’ Festival 2018

Client: Midlands TUC
Event: The Women Chainmakers’ Festival 2018
Venue: Cradley Heath, High Street, B64 5HJ
Brief: To document the day, commencing 11.00am until approx. 5.00pm, including the stalls in Cradley Heath High Street, the re-enactors re-creating the events of 2010 including the various speeches by Mary MacArthur, the march, the workers picnic, the bands and the speeches.
Outcome:

The day was incredibly bright which did prove problematical with many of the required photographs. The best way to photograph the stall was to go in close and photograph inside each cubicle.

The speeches were done in two locations: the centre of the High Street on a stage and again using the second stage, in the park location of the picnic.

So much going on meant that there was a lot to document, but everything necessary was documented.
